Written for a challenge at fictionland. We had to take one line from the previous drabble and write our own using that line somewhere in the story. These are very random and I post them "as is". Meaning there are probably some errors but this is how they went up for the challenge. They're pretty pointless.

My team is made up of me, mizzy2k , sheryden and inspired_looney .  We each decided to take a column and we're supposed to write a 1 sentence story or an icon for each prompt.  Not too hard.  I decided to do the stories and they all relate to each other telling a full story if you read them down the column.

I had to take a break from my big NaNo fic-novel.  It was burning me out.  Then this little story popped into my head, almost literally.  I originally thought it would be a nice little distraction.  A short story about a crash and two characters getting a "last chance" but it morphed into something much bigger.  So here it is:
